Create setup for Windows Service I

On September 4, 2010, in .NET, by Allen Ryan
This video discusses how to create a Setup project for a Windows Service application. In order to accomplish this, you have to first create a solution that holds a simple Windows Service project. This project writes an entry to the application log. You then add a Setup project to the solution to install the Window Service. At last, you start the service from within Visual Studio .NET Server Explorer.

Solid article. There’s a lot of great information here, though I did want to let you know something – I am running Mac OS X with the latest beta of Firefox, and the look and feel of your blog is kind of flaky for me. I can understand the articles, but the navigation doesn’t work so good.

Yes, That might be the issue, even I am using fedora, Windows, and Mac occasionally, I have to make some changes in the script to make it 100% compatible with all machines.

    Thanks for your feedback..!
